The DIL8 device, together with the SOP8 test clip (see SEP-IN-TC08SOP1), compose the new system for the "in circuit" way of program.
IN-CLIP allows to save money for several reasons:
- economic reason: the device costs less than € 0,03 vs the higher cost of a common connector;
- dimensional reason: the device is a SOP8 package vs the larger dimensions of a common connector;
- time reason: through the test clip the device can quickly be connected and it can program or update the circuit on which it is installed in a very easy way.
